Pillory (Anatolia)
System Information
X:Y Coordinates-432.79 : 276.44[e]

The Pillory system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the bandit kingdom known as the Rim Territories.[1][2]

System Description

The Pillory system is located near the Aboukir and Garotte systems in the Periphery.[3]

System History

The Pillory system was originally known as the Anatolia system; located in the rimward Periphery, the Anatolia system was either colonised by the Star League Territorial State known as the Rim Worlds Republic during the Star League era, or it was a system that had already been colonized and which became significant enough to be recorded by Inner Sphere nations on maps during this period.[4][3]

The Anatolia system was a member of the Finmark Province of the Rim Worlds Republic, and became an independent system with the collapse of the Republic after the fall of the Star League. Anatolia remained on maps until some point during the Third Succession War, at which point the system had either been depopulated, abandoned, or had become too insignificant for Inner Sphere nations to continue recording.[5][6]

The Anatolia system reappeared on maps during the Dark Age, but with a new name - Pillory.[7]
