Overview

The ongoing clonflict has its roots in the end phase of the FedCom civil war. A mercanery unit - DeMaestri’s Sluggers - make a jump via pirate point direcly to the capital world of Taurus. The defenders believed they were invaded by the entire AFFS, but this wasn't true. The paranoia of the governer make thinks worse. The regiment were anhillated by the combined strength of the Taurian Guards Corps. The few survivor told the official during the interrogation that the High Command of the Davion military know the root to Taurus from an traitor for decades. The TDF started border raids and have success, because the civil war let the border weakened. The gains were lost after the Capellan March reponse with full force. The Crusade envolved to a longtime border conflict over decades.

Taurus	DeMaestri’s Sluggers - Fighting Urukhai	Taurian Guards	The mercanery departed from the Federated Suns and seek employ with the TDF. When the ships entered taurian territory the fleet was destroyed by the defenders. The larger part of the command learned from the faith of their comrades and started an assault on Taurus with on goal in mind, to avenge their fallen comrades. The mercs were desperate. They destroyed all in weapons range, regardless wheter civilians or military. The defending Taurian Guards fight with fury. As aa result many warrior was execute, because the conventional forces coult retreat offwolrd without known destiny.

Bromhead	2nd Taurian Lancers (later Red Chasseurs)	Hansen's Roughrider	The fight for the planet was fierce. The assaulting Taurian had their difficults to pin the mecs in place to bring them down. The fruitless actions and the loses make things worse. After loosing 12 machines to the infantry the Lancers open fire on all mercaneries, even civilian and retreating troops. The fight had ended in a slaughter. The releave force were a combined taskforce of the 3rd Hussars + the Lexington Combat Group. The reconquest were swift, because the outnumbered Taurians could not react and lost. The commands were shattered .
Lindsay	Pleiades Lancers	Hansen's Roughriders + 3rd Ceti Hussars	After Hansen get message from the Bromhead Massacre he sought revenge. Knowing that the Lancers were on Lindsay the command left no survivors.
