The Port Simon Naval Shipyards orbit Galax in the Federated Suns, often referred to as the Galax Megaplex, were built just prior to the start of the First Succession War are one of only two yards in the Federated Suns capable of WarShip production. The yards are also responsible for much of the nation's JumpShip and DropShip refit, repair, and production. The yards are operated jointly between Federated-Boeing Interstellar and Universal Air.
