Preservationists

Preservationists were a small planetary organization that grew on Borghese. It was designed to preserve the way of life and protect the planet from the ravages of the Clan Wars. It was a political unit with some muscle in the form of battlemechs . One of the spokespersons wanted to surrender to the Clans to preserve the planet. Hauptmann (rank) Slander Morgain was also part of this group as the muscle. After the seizure of the dropship Bristol, and the "surrender" to Clan Jade Falcon, who were then defeated by the Black Thorns they were branded as terrorists.
