Raymond Bache was the first human to travel through hyperspace.
History
With the success of the first jumpship (part of the Deimos Project), August 28, 2107 marked the first time that humans had the capacity to travel faster then the speed of light. Almost six months later, Raymond Bache became the first person to travel through hyperspace.
Dizziness, nausea and other symptoms similar to motion sickness were reported by Raymond to the monitoring scientists. The scientific community continued testing until they realized that these side effects were a necessary part of the process.
Although Raymond Burkes personal details and background (likely Mission Commander or Captain) have been lost to history, his contribution to manned space flight cannot be underestimated.
The success of this mission and the tests Raymond endured led the way for the first manned vessel, the TAS Pathfinder, to visit another world.
