Respirator

Overview

Respirators are special masks which allow the wearer to operate in extreme conditions, including underwater and in a vacuum. Each mask covers the wearer's entire face and is connected to an oxygen tank which provides four hours of breathable air. Up to three additional tanks can be attached to each mask, but such a setup increases the unit's weight and makes it more encumbering upon the individual.
