Point Commander Robert Bavros was a Spirit Cats aerospace and VTOL pilot, serving with Omicron Cluster, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Bavros Bloodhouse during the Dark Age Era.[1][3]
Personal Appereance[edit]
Bavros was a small, thin man, with long white hair tied in a single thick braid down his back, contrasting his black eyes.[1]
History[edit]
Born in a Clan Nova Cat enclave within the Republic of the Sphere in 3096, Bavros earned a bloodname at age 28 in 3124 as a ristar, at which time he commanded an elite aerospace fighter unit. Failing to find any further opportunities for advancement in the peacetime Republic, Bavros joined the Spirit Cats after the Blackout. Due to his advanced age however, being 37 by 3133, Bavros was quickly deemed to be solahma and relegated to a non-combat role. Bitter and withdrawn due to his unwanted fate, Bavros focused entirely on his remaining duties as a transport pilot, carrying out orders to the exclusion of all other concerns.
In 3136, Bavros was part of Star Colonel Rikkard Nova Cat's taskforce which invaded Marik, participating in the fighting near the city of Dormouth. He delivered troops and supplies to the frontline, often under fire at extremely low altitude, to high praise from his passengers. Bavros however merely replied "It is remarkable what one can achieve when one stops caring".[1][2]
Vehicle[edit]
Bavros was known to have piloted a Lamprey Transport Helicopter, serial number TC0146-510B. Initially built for the Taurian Concordat, this helicopter was stolen by pirates, and then captured around 3123 by the Republic of the Sphere. Used by various Republic militia units before the Blackout, it was claimed by the Spirit Cats in the chaos following the loss of HPG communication.[1]
