He piloted a customized AWS-9Q Awesome during the Jihad. XO and ersatz bodyguard of unit CO Jeremiah Youngblood, Klatt's lumbering Awesome was the heaviest 'Mech ever deployed by the notably speedy Crescent Hawks and its lack of mobility stymied more than one grand plan during that conflict.[1]
