Romesh Thakar was the commanding officer of the Eighth Regulan Hussars as of 3085.[1]

Force Commander Thakar, serving as the commander of the Fifth Regulan Hussars' Third Battalion, was stationed on Chertan in 3059.[2] After the Free Worlds League dissolved during the Jihad, Thakar was promoted to colonel and by 3085 was commanding the Eighth Regulan Hussars on Vosloorus.[1]
