Early History

Originally a member of the St. Ives Mercantile League, Safe Port was conquered by the Federated Suns in 2364 after the best of the St. Ives military forces were ambushed and destroyed alongside a pan-Capellan strike force during an ambush on Lee. The Mercantile League was unable to contest the invasion, and lost seven worlds to the Federated Suns in a matter of months.[1]

Safe Port was one of ten worlds assaulted by the CCAF during the third week of March 3069, a wave of attacks that formed a part of Operation THUNDERSTRIKE, the Capellan counteroffensive against the Capellan March in defiance of Duke George Hasek's campaign Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE.[18]
