History
The Samayou Hito was a Monolith-class JumpShip of the Draconis Combine. During the Fourth Succession War it was part of a JumpShip fleet stationed at pirate jump point near Dromini VII in preparation for a counterattack against the Lyran Commonwealth. On 15 September 3029 these ships were sabotaged by Lyran Loki agents deployed from the JumpShip Tyr. In the case of the Samayou Hito, an agent entered the ship and planted an explosive at the helium tanks (it had been assumed that the Samayou Hito would still feature a single, larger helium tank but it turned out to have seven helium tanks ringing the Kearny-Fuchida Drive). In this way, the vessel was effectively sabotaged without destroying its priceless K-F drive.[1]
Although the ship's fate is not mentioned, it is implied the damage could be repaired and the ship would be recovered and restored to working order.
