Planetary Info

For most of its history, Schuyler was protected by the vast distance between it and the Lyran Commonwealth border. In these early years, Schuyler focused on agricultural production and later gained industry. After the formation of the Free Rasalhague Republic, however, the border became much closer. This wasn't a problem until the formation of the Ghost Bear Dominion, which turned a calm border into a tense one. The presence of one of the last JumpShip yards within one jump of a potentially hostile border insures that the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery will pay particular attention to defending the world.[1]

Planetary History

Clan Invasion

Kabah was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in June 3050 during the Third Wave of Operation Revival. The planet was defended by surviving elements of the 3rd Alshain Regulars who had escaped destruction earlier at Garstedt. Against them were deployed Trinary Assault, Trinary Command and Binary Elemental of the 7th Jaguar Dragoons, hoping to finish off the fleeing unit, however the newly-resupplied regiment had other ideas. Over a series of staged battles lasting nearly a week, the regiment forced the Smoke Jaguars to expend energy and ammunition chasing after them as they moved from one spot to another, including major battles at Olasin Fjord and Mitsuhama Ridge. Such was the damage inflicted on the Clan forces that the Seventh Dragoon's commander Star Colonel Nevversan broke his bid and called in an extra Trinary to decide the battle. However the reinforcements came too late before the Regulars were able to retreat off-world.[30]

Operation Bulldog

Schuyler was invaded in the third wave of Operation Bulldog by the First Genyosha, Davion Heavy Guards RCT, First St.Ives Lancers, Fourth Wolf Guard Assault Cluster, Tenth Lyran Guards, and the Com Guards 91st Division. The defending Nu Galaxy Command Trinary, Fourth Jaguar Regulars, and Twelfth Jaguar Regulars fought fiercely but were forced to retreat to Huntress.[31]
