Scott Graves was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior during the Dark Age Era.[1][2][3]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Graves was slightly built and bookish looking.[2], but thanks to some minor physical training, he was robust enough to pilot a 'Mech. His slight size was also an advantage, making even small Cramped Cockpits seem roomy.[1]

History[edit]

Graves served several tours with the Fighting Intellectuals, before going independent as a Gunslinger, one of the freelance mercenary MechWarriors which were a feature of the Dark Age Era following the Blackout.

Claiming to have evidence Devlin Stone had established hidden caches of Word of Blake technology following the Word of Blake Jihad, Graves accepted contracts across the collapsing Republic of the Sphere following leads to these prizes. His interest however was a much from an intellectual desire, as from other more material concerns.

During these contracts, he worked with many other Gunslingers, but vowed he would never again serve with Solaris VII Arena Gladiator Boris Vassilev, after a joint mission on Alhena ended poorly. During this contract, Graves used his 'Mech's superior speed to flee from Republic Remnant forces, only bearing escaping with his life and an enduring grudge against the "manic" Vassilev.

He however later hired on with Abdoun Ricol, who also employed Vassilev, much to Graves disgust.[1][2][3]

BattleMech[edit]

Graves was known to have piloted a HL-SS-L Hellion BattleMech, nicknamed "Quantum".[1][2]
