Shinyo was a Rose-class DropShip serving with the Seventh Ghost Regiment as of 3150.

The Shinyo was part of the invasion force that struck Emporia, arriving in-system with the JumpShip Nowaki on 3 April 3150 and pretending to be a Mule-class merchant vessel.[1] Its intended role, beyond serving as a trojan horse, was to remain in orbit and take on supplies for the next leg of the planned invasion.[2]
