Founded in 2888, Sian University is one of the foremost military training facilities in the Capellan Confederation.[1] The university is located outside Sian's planetary capital with smaller installations spread around the planet. In the Officer Graduation Program (known as Hen gao Xiao-lu, or the High Path) every candidate must pass stringent background checks via the Maskirovka. In this program, the university produces some of its finest officers for the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces.[2]
Atmosphere
The high numbers of civil employees make the discipline little less among the cadres.[clarification needed] Failure in one test can end careers prematurely. The demands for graduation are extremely high and a focus is placed on knowledge rather than outright skill.[2]
Special Notes
Every applicant is considered a normal cadet without regard to which rank they held before entrance to the university.[2]
