History
Sigma Galaxy was one of Clan Diamond Shark's garrison Galaxies. It continued the traditions and naming from before the Clan's name change. The way it honored its opponents however was slightly different from the norm. They showed the same honor to their opponents that they received. This even extended to their bidding, where the commanders bid reflected their opponent's strengths rather than the abstract honor that led other Clans to use individual duels and single combat. This was a wise policy considering that Sigma primarily consisted of BattleMechs where their opponents typically fielded OmniMechs.
In 3061 forty percent of Sigma Galaxy's troops were freeborns.[1]
Sigma Galaxy was uprooted from their long term garrison posts between 3065 and 3067 to readjust for future strategic goals. The Moonstone Skate and 79th Strike Cluster defended against a Trial of Possession from Clan Ice Hellion. They then withdrew from their garrison posts while Clan Coyote defended their former holdings. This action saw several clusters moving to the Deep Periphery.[2][3]
Officers
As of 3061 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Duaine Borghev.[1] He was still in command in 3067.[3]
Tactics
The Fox's Whelps would follow zellbrigen if their opponent did. Outside of zellbrigen, the Whelps would hit their opponents with airstrikes before moving in with ground forces.[1]
