History

Sigma Galaxy is paired with Zeta Galaxy and the Emerald Talon Naval Assault Star to form "Turkina's Talons." This formation was the primary defensive force for the Falcon's Homeworld holdings. The Galaxy consisted of four front line Clusters and a single solahma Cluster prior to the Refusal War. Despite their primary defensive role, they have engaged in offensive operations. They were particularly active during the Harvest Trials gaining two abtakha Clusters as a result of their actions.[1] They remained in the Homeworlds in 3067.[2]

In early to mid 3069 the Second Velities fough a number of Trials on Marshal in the last one they managed to push the defending Steel Vipers off planet after breaking their bid and using artillery bombardment.[3]

In November 3069 the Vipers launched assaults against Jade Falcon holdings in the Homeworlds. The Vipers Beta Galaxy returned to Marshall. Declaring the 2nd Falcon Velites Dezgra they landed five Clusters on planet and destroyed the Velites to the last warrior. The Steel Vipers' Gamma Galaxy landed on Eden overwhelming the Dragoons they destroyed the First Falcon Dragoons Cluster. The Vipers' Ninety-third Assault Cluster destroyed the Third Dragoons on Huntress. The Twelfth Talon was destroyed fighting against Alpha Galaxy on Ironhold and Sigma Solahma was destroyed on Tokasha.[4]

In January 3070 the Steel Viper's Triasch Keshik assaulted the Falcon holdings on Strana Mechty and after only a few hours had destroyed every last Falcon warrior from the Third Battle Cluster, finishing Sigma Galaxy as a force.[4]

Officers

As of 3059 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Timur Malthus, formerly a Jade Falcon saKhan.[1] He was still in command in 3067 and was officially appointed as Khan Marthe Pryde's Homeworld deputy.[2]
