Description

The Silhouette Stables only hires attractive MechWarriors, including the stable master. Their MechWarriors have good dueling skills, and they can position half a dozen fighters in the top one hundred ranked fighters.[1] The stable is based in a walled estate in the Northern Heights area of Xolara with a very high security. If five meter high ferrocrete wall with at least thirty heavily armed and trained soldiers with trained guard dogs at any time that manage a sophisticated security system patroling it would not be enough, a lance of modified light 'Mechs is tasked solely for security duty. All this security is protecting the main house (that accomodates both MechWarriors and support personnel) situated at the front of the estate, while the 'Mech hangars and training areas are set towards the rear of the estate.[2]

History

Silhouette Stables was established in 3080. The Stables has won lesser class championships over the last four years, but for 3087, two of their fighters, Lanna Vision and Shepard O'Reily expect to be contestants for the Solaris Grand Championship.[1]

Stable Master and Owners

Sarah Bushney is both the owner and the Stable Master of Silhouette. Rarely seen without a handsome escort (sometimes a Silhouette MechWarrior) though strangely the same twice in a row. Her nice looks and strikingly beautiful face have fooled some people thinking she is a brainless bimbo, but reality is that she is a first-class mind well suited to Solaris' murky backroom scene. Her past is a mystery except she is from Canopus. She is known to run the stable with a firm but fair hand. [3]

Notable Personnel

Instructors

  • Louis Cutler served several notable mercenary units over the years changing from one to another on his own choice. While in his way to Solaris looking or something different she met Naomi Jackon, fell in love and married her. He was hired (as well as his wife) by Bushney as trainers and have been doing a good job. Unless angry when hils yells can be heard in all the state, he is a soft spoken person. He is an Elite MechWarrior with top Training skills too.[4] He trains light and assualt fighters.[5]
  • Naomi Cutler was born in the Draconis Combine and has spent most of her life in mercenary units, though not as famous as his husband. When she decided she needed a change on peace, she headed for Solaris. In the travel, a friendship then turned love relation with Louis ended with both of them being married. She was hired as his housband to be a trained, and she hasn't been happier as now ever.[6] She trains medium and heavy fighters.[5]

Technicians

  • Raz Danbury is the Chief Tech of the Stable. Gossip says he does not have a life outside of the 'Mechs he builds and repairs. He is a hands-on technician, personally working on 'Mechs, being a noted perfectionist demanding to his team but also to him. No 'Mech on the Stable has ever suffered a non-combat failure, which speaks high on his skills.[7] He is leading a team on unknown size but with very good skills, said to actually be Magistrcy research scientist on Solaris to test new weapons and equipment.[8]

MechWarriors

In 3051 23 Mechwarriors were fighting for Silhouette Stables.[1]

Known Mechwarriors

Other

None.

Tactics and Style

Silhouette Stables engages in hit-and-run tactics that demand to stay mobile and use jump jets. Their skill on this tactics is not common among most Solaris Mechwarriors. They do prefer open arenas like Davion Arena and the Steiner Stadium where they can exploit to the fullest their mobility whilst they eschew Ishiyama's tunnels because of how it restricts their mobility. It has been noted that their light and assault 'Mech pilots tend to be better gunners, while medium and heavy 'Mech pilots tend to be more skillful in their piloting.[11]

Notes

As of 3086, the Stable has C rating. The standard contract is for 1000 C-Bills and a 20% of the earnings. If everything continues going as it is, it is expected that Warrior's will increase their rating to B.[1]

Game Rules
