History
Formed from elements of the 225th Mechanized Infantry Division after the Exodus, which split into two independent mercenary commands in 2775, Simpson's Samurai and the Red Eagles.[1]
During their time in the employ of House Davion, they were repulsed by the Ariana Grenadiers in a rare armor-versus-armor battle on Genoa in 2778.[3]
Simpson's Samurai was badly mauled by the 11th Liao Lancers while defending Bahl's Retreat. The Samurai were a battle-hardened unit at that time but where nevertheless shattered to one single company of survivors, and that thanks most to their enemies inexperience than any other thing.[4]
In 2830, the remaining elements of Belinda's Irregulars and Simpson's Samurai joined together to form the Bloody Suns.[2]
