Sonja Bruneau is a relative upstart on Solaris VII who is just starting to make a name for herself, working more through personality than piloting skill. Grim determination drives Bruneau and her 'Mech.
Even so, Bruneau pleases the crowds when she can, exhibiting an exceptional skill at striking fast-appearing targets of the arena. Though lacking MechBunnies of her own, Bruneau patiently reassures herself that every dog has his day. And as soon as she sends those dogs to the pound, she'll have her own.[1]
