StarSlab is a brand of protective armor plating carried primarily by military hardware, most notably by BattleMechs and other combat vehicles. Owned by Brooks, Inc., it is one of the largest sources of revenue for the company, due to the numerous licenses sold for its manufacture. StarSlab armor is routinely utilized by Free Worlds League 'Mechs, though usually as a field upgrade. It is exported to the Magistracy of Canopus and Taurian Concordat.[1]
A StarSlab manufacturing center was present in the warehouse district of Hamilton City (on New Avalon) in 3074.[2]
