History
The Sterling Bridge was a JumpShip of unspecified type. Although its exact class was not mentioned it is strongly implied that it had several docking hardpoints.
The Starling Bridge was to move the First Muskegon Capellan March Militia from the nadir jump point in the Muskegon system out for deployment elsewhere against the Word of Blake during the Jihad. However, a Word of Blake suicide saboteur had hidden in the cargo hold of the DropShip General Ord. When it docked with the Sterling Bridge on 18 August 3070 he set off a nuclear device, destroying the Sterling Bridge and several DropShips and two thirds of the Muskegon Militia regiment with them.[1]
