This article gives the dates of the grand surveys as:

First: 2168-2174 cataloging an estimated one hundred and eight (108) colonized worlds
Second: 2195 cataloged over two hundred (200) colonized worlds
Third: 2219 cataloged over three hundred (300) colonized worlds
Fourth: 2235 cataloged over six hundred (600) colonized worlds

Historical: Reunification War p. 13 and p. 21 gives the dates and figures for the surveys as:

First Grand Survey (2172) - 112 colonies
Second Grand Survey (2199) - 395 colonies
Third Grand Survey (2216) - 461 colonies
Fourth Grand Survey (2235) - 619 colonies
Fifth Grand Survey (2389)

I think we use the data of the latest source, and this is Historical: Reunification War, she overhelmed the older DropShips and JumpShips source, but i provide a to talks ask the writers on the CBF.--Doneve 17:59, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

I just checked both sources, The SL sourcebook is fague enough that there is no contradiction. Dropships and Jumpships hower is quite firm on the number for the first survey (108 with no wiggle room in the wording) but nothing is said about numbers for the other three surveys on that page referenced. --Dmon 18:03, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

Just speculating, but maybe it is 108 + Earth + Mars + Venus + Moon? Or something similar? --Neufeld 19:25, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
