Amphigean Background(s)

I noticed that Line Developer Herbert Beas responded (http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=21133.0) to a question regarding the origin of the Amphigean LAG that newer material would trump the older source, which would render the Chain Gang background the "true" version and the Merc origin apocryphal. Should the article be amended, or would it be better to wait until the upcoming Handbook House Kurita is released, just to be sure? (sidenote: I also checked Turning Points Galtor as recommended by Adrian Gideon, but found nothing there) --Akashi 05:00, 05 March 2013 (GMT)

"Newer trumps older" has always been the case. But it only applies for mutually exclusive content; conversely, it does not apply where the available information can somehow be reconciled - as I believe is the case here. Frabby (talk) 02:23, 1 June 2018 (EDT)
