Question : MRMs[edit]

Is the Artemis IV compatible with MRMs? I couldn't find an answer... ClanWolverine101

No. SRM, LRM and MML only. Tech Manual pages 206-207. --Neufeld 17:35, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Stands to reason... MRMs are derived from DFMs in universe, neiter type of missile has even rudimentery guidance. --Cameron 17:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Correct, MRMs have the MRM "Apollo" Fire Control System instead, which is closer to a Targeting Computer in enhancing the launcher's aim rather than the missiles like Artemis does. Cyc 14:29, 8 June 2012 (PDT)

It's not clearly stated so I must ask, if one has 4 Lrm5 mounted in the same location and has 1 Artemis there, do all 4 launchers get the benefits? --188.2.9.229 07:20, 8 June 2012 (PDT)

It's stated in the Techmanual, on pages 206-207, where it specifies that if you have Artemis IV FCS on a 'Mech, every launcher eligible to mount an Artemis IV FCS must do so. So, your 4 LRM-5 systems would each require an Artemis IV FCS, they couldn't share a single system. If you check the references in this article, you'll see that the statement made in the article regarding multiple launcher systems is cited as being from page 207 of the Techmanual.BrokenMnemonic 08:35, 8 June 2012 (PDT)

Question: is there a reference to the terrain tracking capability as portrayed in the game MechWarrior 3?— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by AncientxFreako (talkcontribs) .

Suggestion: Merge Artemis IV and Artemis V pages --WheelOfTheLaw (talk) 16:52, 17 July 2019 (EDT)
