Clean up

The Article for the BattleTech Stats should use the {{InfoBoxWeapon}} side bar as described in Help:CreateWeaponArticle. If you want, use both the {{InfoBoxWeapon}} and the {{InfoBoxRPGWeapon}} in the same article and i will clean it up into Three articles.

  • The Transclusion Template for the descriptive Text.
  • the Main BattleTech Stats article with transcluded encyclopedic text.
  • The /RPG3e and/or /RPG4e Articles.

Do you have MechWarrior, First Edition, Technical Readout: 3026 (/RPG1e), MechWarrior, Second Edition, MechWarrior Companion, Chaos March (/RPG2e), MechWarrior, Third Edition (or Classic BattleTech RPG), Classic BattleTech (RPG) Companion, Combat Equipment (/RPG3e), and A Time of War (/RPG4e)? --Cameron 14:34, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Someone needs to fix this to use the BT stats in the infobox style, RPG Stats go in /RPG4 subpage and there is a infobox for that--Cameron 15:17, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Template in place, please populate infobox and delete table--Cameron 15:36, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Table deleated again... having issues with the hex range section--Cameron 21:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Deletion suggestion

Revisiting this as the article structure is a trainwreck imho. Like with all weapons in this gaming universe, there should be (only) one coherent article and the weapon's stats as given under different rulesets all belong into that one article. Using a subarticle structure using the slash "/" character is discourated on this wiki and should be avoided if at all possible. Similarly, there is no reason to use a template instead of an article. I think this also applies to other personal weapons. I'll put it on my to-do list. Frabby (talk) 08:03, 13 November 2018 (EST)

I agree, the technology portions of the wiki are in need of some serious TLC.--Dmon (talk) 09:55, 13 November 2018 (EST)
