CASE and Clan Mechs[edit]

Can't clan mechs carry CASE in the arms? ClanWolverine101 22:17, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes. Clan CASE is automatically wherever it needs to be. --Scaletail 00:00, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Pbbbt. And you made the edit. I guess the lesson is to "Be bold". :P ClanWolverine101 00:40, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Damage after ammo critical hit[edit]

Question: by TT rules how do the damage rolls go after a case protected side torso gets an ammo crit? --188.2.11.180 07:55, 9 April 2015 (PDT)

Rewrite was Required, but How Much More?[edit]

The rewrite continues. Some of the information in this articles was confusing, some misleading, and some just wrong. The Rules Section is next, then some reorganization.
While an explanation of damage transfers, specifically in the event of an ammo explosion, may be useful to demonstrate the function of CASE in game, I believe it goes significantly beyond the scope of this article (by not just giving +/- CASE, but explaining how any damage transfers in a 'Mech). Thoughts?--S.gage (talk) 01:46, 11 October 2022 (EDT)

Realistically we need to be very careful with the rules as part of the drive to go "rules free", I would suggest not detailing how CASE functions within the rules at all beyond the barest concept.--Dmon (talk) 03:25, 11 October 2022 (EDT)
Wholeheartedly agreed!--S.gage (talk) 11:53, 11 October 2022 (EDT)

Please have a look, I believe it reads better, is lighter, and does removes a lot of the unrelated rules explanation.--S.gage (talk) 13:16, 11 October 2022 (EDT)

Year discrepancy between CASE-P and CASE[edit]

In the description section, it's stated that early CASE prototypes (CASE-P) first appeared in 2542 and were refined into standard CASE in 2476..66 years prior. I tried checking both 2442 and 2452 year pages but i can't see a reference to CASE-P so i'm not sure which should the actual year be set to..surely not 2542 though? My PDF copy of Interstellar Operations pages 39 and 71 has it 2452 and 2467, so seems was a simple transcription typo.Cyc (talk) 07:24, 18 January 2023 (EST)
