Merged?

Hi. Why heck was Cochraine's Goliath's merged with the later 5th Capellan Chargers? They were exceptionally famed component of the Chargers, that they shouldn't be splashed together way the Dark Age section mentions. Their two seperate units, which old Goliath's were from the original. Nothing in the write up the newly resurrected 5th Capellan Chargers of having Quad based Assault Battalion name the Cochraine's Goliaths. Hello? Could you restate your objection? I do not understand the issue. House Liao (The Capellan Confederation) clearly states that the Goliaths were the reformed 5th Capellan Chargers. Ergo, they are the same unit as the Dark Age Chargers. Their 'Mech composition is irrelevant. Their name is also irrelevant as CCAF units frequently have multiple names for same regiment. I would go as far as to use the 5th Chargers name as the official unit name rather than Cochraine's Goliaths, but that is mostly down to my hatred of the CC's utter lack of naming conventions for its units.--Dmon (talk) 09:16, 23 May 2017 (EDT)

For what it's worth, I agree with the merger and that the lead article should be 5th Capellan Chargers, not Cochraine's Goliaths. Sarna BTW's policy has always been to use the last/latest canonical name of a given unit. Frabby (talk) 11:19, 23 May 2017 (EDT)
