Name backwards?

I don't have my books handy right now, but I'm fairly sure the name is Gray Noton (and not Noton Gray)? Frabby 13:58, 24 June 2009 (PDT)

I was not looking, but I just found a reference to Gray Noton: Under RFL-3N-2 Rifleman II, Technical Readout: 3075, p. 169, "...Rumor is it that Gray Noton discovered such a Rifleman abandoned in the Periphery and brought it back to Solaris to become the undisputed champion of the Class 5 fight circuit."--S.gage 01:17 EDT 25 June 2009.

I goofed, i'll turn it around. -- Wrangler 12:38, 25 June 2009 (PDT)

Gray Ghost

I must be crazy but I swear to God I remember him being referred to as 'The Gray Ghost' in the original Warrior Trilogy. I have heard the term before, never heard of The Gray Ghosts merc outfit before today, and even to the point I remember someone doing a fanfiction, stealing the X-men movie line 'Do you know what happens to a Ghost when it gets hit by lightning?' before shooting him with a PPC. But I just did a word search on a PDF copy of the book (I assure you, I own a copy of the original paperback) and there is no instance of him actually being called that. Does anyone have any idea if he's actually called that anywhere, even once? Cause this is driving me insane right now. I *KNOW* he was but the only place I've actually read about him doesn't.

There's one writeup suggesting, apparently in error, that the Gray's Ghosts merc unit was named for Noton; but there seems to be an ongoing mixup, possibly in-universe, with Erik Gray aka the Gray Ghost. See Notes section for Gray's Ghosts. Frabby (talk) 02:05, 19 September 2022 (EDT)
