I think it may be time for us to finally get rid of these. It may have been acceptable when the wiki was brand new, but it's hypocritical of us to remove new content that has had some work done to it, while keeping the copy-and-pasted text of these history articles. --Scaletail 01:44, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Would proper referencing save this and similar pages? I have the 1st ed MechWarrior and the 20 year update, but this week is heavy at work and I am commited to the Taurian Concordat Bios. If these pages can be saved, should they? If so, I will commit to that project after the Bios and units of the Concordat are done, though I can not say how long either project may take me.Deeppockets 03:39, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

No, issue isn't references, as indicated above we know where it comes from, its the fact its taken whole and verbatem from the existing sources is the problem, needs to be re-written whole to enlarge and improve it beyond just being a copy-paste. Cyc 06:17, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Apparently I've recreated this article, I'm only now seeing the above discussion. It seems that most of the faction pages have a seperate history page, so that's my reasoning. JubalHarshaw (talk) 12:46, 30 April 2018 (EDT)

That's fine, the reason the original was deleted was because it was a copy paste from book, we definitely need indepth and expanded history of each faction in this manner.Cyc (talk) 18:04, 30 April 2018 (EDT)
