Maybe it's just me, but with nothing for two jumps (apparently), how do JumpShips get there? Are there uninhabited stars between it and civilization? Kobura 19:29, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes. It's been established that for every populated/colonized system on the BT starmaps, there are ~1000 (!) unpopulated systems. You can technically jump to any point on the map and find a star system there to recharge your jump drive; thus, long-range trips can theoretically be planned in a straight line. However, empty systems are usually avoided because JumpShip skippers fear that they'll be lost with no hope of rescue if anything happens in such an empty system. Frabby 19:51, 2 January 2011 (UTC)
