Talk:Kindraa Kline

I'm against a merge with the Fire Mandrill article, because it exit enougth material for an solide articel for every kindraa.I will prove it tomorrow. The kindraas are factions with in the borders of the a clans but nothing more. They fight agianst each other and sometimes work with other clans against their own people in a other kindraa. Hy,at 1st) take in mind the Kindraa is a clan command structure, and as 2nd) please look to existing content on the wiki, in the past you add some double content . I disagree with the mention Kindraa's are factions. The Kindraa is a known specific command structure in the various clans that use this system.--Doneve 19:22, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Tnx for your response, I agree with you that I had added in the past content double. I have learned and try to avoid such postings. I have a reference for which are spoke clearly from factions see Warrior of Kerensky p. 77 where it stand word for word 'The Fire Mandrills... broken into a number of factions each maintain their own traditions, philosophy and methods.' Also the therm faction is often used by the writers of the articel for crusader clans. Neuling 20:10, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Note the Kindraa is not a faction, he is always noted for the description of a Clan used model.--Doneve 20:55, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Regardless of how you imagine this article taking shape, there is no reason to have "Kindraa Kline" and "Kindraa Kline (Fire Mandrill)". If you want to think of them as a faction and a military unit, that doesn't mean there needs to be two separate articles. I support this merge.
On another note, Neuling, I think (though I may be presuming too much) that there is a distinction between two different types of "factions" that you may be missing. It is true that Clan Fire Mandrill is fractured into Kindraas, but the kindraa are not a meta-level "Faction", such as the Federated Suns, ComStar, or Clan Jade Falcon. Those are BattleTech Factions (with a capital "F"), while the kindraa are Fire Mandrill factions (with a lower-case "f"). Again, I might be making a poor assumption, so I hope you do not find this explanation offensive. --Scaletail 23:30, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
