This magazine had its own Solaris Stables. Now that I'm running my own "Solaris" project trying to develop that world a bit, I find myself in doubt of what to do. When I did the magazine I said to myself. Apocryphal, then no work... now.

Please, if some experts could review the page and clean it, correcting the format... I'm not very good at this --Pserratv (talk) 03:48, 29 November 2017 (EST)

Cover Images[edit]

I'm trying to upload cover images (4MB aprox) and I'm getting timeouts always. Any idea why this is happening? Do I need to make the images smaller (theory says it is 16MB allowed).--Pserratv (talk) 04:50, 10 January 2018 (EST)

What format are you going for? 4 MB is huge. Cover images typically clock in at 150k or less as .jpg files. I do suggest to downsize the files. Frabby (talk) 10:35, 10 January 2018 (EST)
I'm usim png, but with the size comment I'm going to resize them. I took too much to my heart the quality of the images :)--Pserratv (talk) 17:12, 10 January 2018 (EST)

Detailed Information from the Articles[edit]

Something rather unfortunate about all of these pages about magazines on Sarna is that they rarely (if ever) give you more detailed information on the BattleTech content in these magazines, so usually the only way you can actually learn anything useful is by managing to track down a copy yourself. For the sake of archival, historical preservation, and preventing the Succession Wars from ever actually happening, I think we should try to be more vigilant about conveying information from the magazines on their Sarna pages.

Like the Lithium Fusion Engines from Mecha Press. What the heck are they? It states on the Sarna page that they are based on Lithium Fusion Batteries for JumpShips, but that doesn't tell me a whole lot.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by Amaroq Dricaldari (talkcontribs) .

The problem is that even though those magazines may be out-of-print, their content is copyrighted to the author and/or publisher. There is no such thing as abandonware. Sarna is always treading a fine line between "fair use" and copyright infringement. Too much information, or quoting such sources verbatim, might put Sarna on the wrong side and put the wiki in legal jeopardy.
