Recommendation

I would like to suggest that this article be combined with an unwritten article about the Principality of Regulus. Any differences between the two would be addressed in the text. Thoughts? ClanWolverine101 19:16, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

That's a subject I've been kicking around in my head for a while. I can see arguments on both sides. With the re-formation of the Free Worlds League, I'm more inclined to agree with you than before that plot development. I think your proposal could apply to the other successors to the Marik realm as well. --Scaletail 23:36, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
I felt it was viable, as it SEEMS to me that they are about 90% like each other. The other member-states should be a case by case basis IMHO. ClanWolverine101 02:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
I would recommend not re-formating it. Principality of Regulus should be its own article because unlike the Fiefs, it was not a standing nation for very long and was ..i guess a State within the Free Worlds League for centuries. Fiefs is considered own nation since it became on after the Jihad. I've been meaning to write up article regarding the Principality of Regulus, but i'm having trouble find a solid source of history for them. I wanted to write up something more than what Handbook: House Marik had in it.-- Wrangler 11:57, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
The original Handbook or the pre-Jihad books? ClanWolverine101 17:37, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Since this discussion stalled, I have started a new discussion at BattleTechWiki talk:Project Factions#FWL Successor States. --Scaletail 18:05, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
