Vacuum "Variant"[edit]

Rather than calling the vacuum variant "apocryphal", would it be better to consider it a unique unit? --Scaletail 21:01, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

If the only time a variant appears in publication is in a German Language product then it would have the same "canon" or otherwise status as the product that included it. In Contrast - The unique units published in the BattleCorps Unique Mechs, Fighters, Etc PDFs are considered canon by the powers that be, I do not think that this is the case with the German Language Novels, Scenario Packs, or other publications.--Cameron 14:47, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
My fault for not checking the source. Would it then be better to consider it a famous unit (a la "famous MechWarriors"), rather than a true variant? --Scaletail 23:36, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
What for a German novell or languages product is that.Give me some reference, I think i can help you. I speak perfect german. Doneve 23:50, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
PerkinsC/Cameron has hit the nail on the head: The (only, afaik) source for this variant is the German-only Ronin! (Scenario pack) which itself is apocryphal (and was used as a basis for the writeup on the Ronin Wars in Historical: Brush Wars). In one scenario, several Schreks appear on an airless moon and fluff simply states these are capable of operation in vacuum, but had to sacrifice one PPC for the modification. No stats are given otherwise. Frabby 00:04, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
