Its a Star League era BattleMech Taser, fires an electromagnetic pulse to overload and shutdown a target non-lethally. Page 127 of Jihad Conspiracies Interstellar Players 2. The vanilla version has the same range as a Small Laser against most targets, but was later tied into the anti-theft transponders of SLDF 'Mechs so it gained ability to shutdown SLDF 'Mechs at Light PPC ranges. Short range and the anti-theft transponders being able to be shutdown by radio command and being abused for practical jokes and by enemies meant it got shelved.Cyc (talk) 08:40, 7 August 2022 (EDT)
