Cover in Infobox[edit]

There is no proper policy in place for this (as far as I can see), but long-standing tradition here on Sarna.net is to put a physical product's *first* incarnation/cover in the infobox, and discuss any changes in the article (with perhaps a gallery, if applicable). In this case this would mean the image in the infobox would have to be a scan of the 1st FanPro Edition cover. My suggestion would be to prominently include the most recent cover near the top of the text, with appropriate caption. Opinions? Frabby (talk) 05:52, 7 August 2019 (EDT)

In this kind of products we could run an exception and have a "Cover Gallery" at the top which allows us to show all covers on the supplement in chronological order for example.--Pserratv (talk) 06:55, 7 August 2019 (EDT)
I have been thinking about this for a while but not specifically in regards to rulebooks but they represent a second string to my line of thought on the subject. I am in favour of reversing the tradition and having the most recent in the infobox. With a lot of the unseen getting replaced and CGL revising the entire core rulebook line in addition to the entire run of novels. I believe this might make the wiki more user friendly to new players if the current product image is represented first.--Dmon (talk) 08:54, 7 August 2019 (EDT)

printings[edit]

There's a corrected 10th printing now, so I edited the cover gallery to include that info.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by 98.97.10.218 (talkcontribs) .

Thank you, I was not even aware that another edition had come out!--Dmon (talk) 21:56, 28 March 2024 (EDT)
