Alright folks, trying to get the ball rolling here. Unfortunately, I lack any source material whatsoever for this 'mech except a novel and some info I've picked up out in cyberspace. So, if anyone has any sources with Vapor Eagle stuff, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks.

P.S.: Any criticism would be helpful as well. --~Malithion~ 21:37, 4 January 2007 (CST)

I have corrected the format as it isnt an omniMech so ti doesnt have any true "configurations, fixed innacuracies in weaposn capabilities where it neded to be, and have tagged the article with the proper categories and references.

I woudl liek tyo say that you did a good job on the article Malithon. You may want to take a look at BTW:PBM for more information on formatting and if you have any questiosn feel free to ask

Oh please forgive my typos, im slightly dyslexic.--CJKeys 09:51, 5 January 2007 (CST)

Well, thanks for the compliment on the article and the update. To be honest, I've never actually had the privilege to play Classic BattleTech, so your knowledge and expertise is again appreciated.

Also, I added a couple of redirect pages for those searching for the 'mech, as well as a link at the top for the 'ol WotC CCG Vapor Ealge article. Once again, thanks for the edits. --~Malithion~ 00:59, 7 January 2007 (CST)

3 or 4 MGs ?[edit]

Hi, I reread my TRO 3055 and I noticed the Vapor Eagle sports only 3 MGs, all in Left Arm.(3 barrels in the LA as you can see in the picture) I also own a Vapor Eagle figure, and it only bears 3 MGs too. I also don't know where you saw a Vapor Eagle sporting, in its primary config, 4 MGs--FIVE-one 02:56, 21 December 2007 (CST)

Be bold and change it. It sounds like you've got the supporting sources, which you can cite in the edit summary. Good job! --Revanche (talk|contribs) 08:03, 21 December 2007 (CST)
Actually, the reason he started this discussion is because he did change it and I changed it back. The file on The Drawing Board indicated that the base variant had 4 MGs, but since this is not a canon source I went ahead and got Record Sheets: 3055 Upgrade. This also states that the design uses 4 MGs. Obviously they changed the info, which makes sense because a Clan MG is .25 tons, so there is no reason for any 'Mech to ever have an odd number of them. There are 3 in the LA and 1 in the LT. --Scaletail 11:00, 21 December 2007 (CST)
[backing away]My bad! Sorry I mis-understood. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 13:08, 21 December 2007 (CST)
Well it sounds like TRO:3055 basic version is not up to date. It doesn't speak about any LT mounted MG. I'll follow your explaination so. --FIVE-one 14:01, 21 December 2007 (CST)
Some friends of mine have TRO 3055 : Upgrade. I'll check it and report back. It is possible the Record Sheet to make mistakes as it is only a record sheet, not a TRO. Also, all figures I have of the Vapor Eagle bear only 3 MGs all in the arm, and other looking like to bear a MG in their left torso don't sport any SRM in their torso... All in all, I'll keep you in touch --FIVE-one 14:49, 22 December 2007 (CST)
TRO:3055U doesn't have the base variant of the Goshawk in it. It is a "Phoenix Upgrade." --Scaletail 17:29, 22 December 2007 (CST)
Well it's look like this Primary Config is a big mess... Why did this primary config refit happenend ?! --FIVE-one 13:51, 23 December 2007 (CST)
My assumption is because it was .25 tons underweight. --Scaletail 18:14, 23 December 2007 (CST)
