Talk:Warrior House Orders

Not part of the CCAF

I have cleaned up a bit after the most recent additions. Please note that the Warrior Houses are not part of the CCAF - that's the whole point about them. For lack of a better description, they are the Chancellor's private army and not the Confederation's. Their CCAF counterpart are the Death Commandos, and this is the reason why the Death Commandos and the Warrior Houses don't get along. Frabby 00:09, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

"Brigade" style article

This is the mirror image of the old but apparently as-of-yet unresolved "Brigade vs. sub-unit articles" discussion. Like I have said in previous discussions on the subject, I'd prefer to treat large coherent formations (esp. mercenary commands but also certain House brigades or divisions such as the Ryuken, Genyosha, Marik Militia, Lyran Guards, etc.) in a single article instead of breaking them up into several articles for their individual sub-formations (regiments) except in cases where there are very notable sub-units (Sorenson's Sabres, Fox's Teeth, Rolling Thunder, Black Widow Company, that kind of sub-unit).
Regarding the Capellan Warrior Houses, each Warrior House is probably distinct enough to warrant a separate article, although a summary article about them with a rundown and brief descriptions is definitely called for as well. I have therefore removed the Merge tag. Frabby 00:09, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Warrior House Orders

I have renamed the page Warrior House Orders as opposed to Warrior Houses as it strikes me as a better title for the page and it is what the brigade is called in Field Manual: 3145. --Dmon (talk) 06:21, 10 September 2013 (PDT)

What Happens to "Wash-Outs?"

What happens to those who fail the training? Have any of the Books/Supplements/Novels ever told us? Is it akin to what happens to Sibkho trainees who fail their final rites? Are they forbidden from joining the military via more conventional means? Do they bear some Mark of Shame? Or is it something even worse (and possibly more permanent/lethal)?

From what I know of the units they are quite Monastic, so washouts potentially stay as part of the order as part of the monastary support staff.--Dmon (talk) 03:22, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
