Explanation

All entries are optional unless noted as "required" below, meaning that the respective row does not appear if the field is left blank. Some fields only apply to certain product types.

conflict name
partof =
relation to a larger conflict (campaign, war, etc.) (optional)
date =
date of the conflict; can be a year, a specific date or a range of dates (ex: 07 March - 21 April 3067)
place =
specific location on a planet or within a system (ex: Unity Plains) where the conflict occurred
planet =
planet (or system) where the conflict occurred
faction1 = 
First faction involved in fighting
faction2 = 
Second faction involved in fighting
faction3 = 
Third faction involved in fighting (optional)
commander1 =
the acknowledged commanding officer of the first belligerent's force; if unknown, leave blank
commander2 =
the acknowledged commanding officer of the second belligerent's force; if unknown, leave blank
commander3 =
the acknowledged commanding officer of the third belligerent's force; if unknown, leave blank (optional)
forces1 = 
a list of the identifiable units in the first belligerent's force; divide multiple units with the <br> code
forces2 = 
a list of the identifiable units in the second belligerent's force; divide multiple units with the <br> code
forces3 = 
a list of the identifiable units in the third belligerent's force; divide multiple units with the <br> code (optional)
environment =
generalization of the place of battle (ex: light woods, aerial, space, undersea, desert, etc.) (optional)
conditions =
any environmental (or other) conditions that directly affected the battlefield (ex: asteroid field, thunderstorm, heavy snow, darkness, etc.); if unknown, leave blank (optional)
result =
the final conclusion of the battle (ex: Aggressor victory, Opposition victory, undecided, etc.)
territory =
