  • 01 January 2016: A Happy New Year! (Frabby)
2015 was another great year to be a BattleTech fan. The Unseen issue is finally going away through the retroactive introduction of new designs that actually look recognizably like the earlier, unseen images. New print novels have been announced (and a small print run of one was sold at GenCon).
On the Sarna.net BattleTechWiki side of things, we've seen a continuous drive to improve the existing database, and another 549 new articles added this past year. The 20,000th article will probably be written this year, which is very exciting.
The signs are good. Here's to a great 2016!
  • 25 December 2015: Merry Christmas... (Frabby)
...to the BattleTech community! :)
  • 11 December 2015: Forbes linking to Sarna (Nicjansma)
Sarna was linked to by Forbes in this article about MechWarrior Online releasing on Steam. A testament to the high quality content this community has worked on!
  • 25 July 2015: (Former) Unseen remodeled (Frabby)
As part of CGL's recent major announcement, they presented new art that explicitly retroactively replaces the old "unseen" art. Not all unseen designs have received a makeover yet, but the idea apparently is to put the unseen issue to rest for good.
