The Longest Day is a serialized novel-length story by Jason Schmetzer that was published online by BattleCorps in six parts from 30 August to 5 October 2014. Detailing the demise of the Seventh Hell's Brigade mercenary unit, the story was spun out of a brief three-sentence description of the conquest of Virentofta from the Invading Clans sourcebook, page 64.
