Long known as a peacemaker among his siblings, Thelos ultimately graduated from the University of Saso with a degree in public policy before entering the FedSuns Foreign Ministry's diplomatic corps. His first assignment was as an assistant to a trade delegate to the St. Ives Compact, Thelos' family's ties to the ruling House Allard-Liao aiding him immeasurably, along with introducing him to his future wife, Countess Merina Suarez, a minor landholder from Royalston, at a social function.
