Colonel Timm McDougal was the commander of the Northwind Highlanders' First Kearny Highlanders as of 2841.[1]

McDougal was the commander of the First Kearny, when Northwind was captured by the Federated Suns, though he was unable to assist in its defense due to being stationed on Kyrkbacken.[1] On hearing the news from his aide-de-camp Lieutenant Rebekah Faal on 30 November 2841, McDougal first instinct was to attempt to revenge his lost comrades, but was convinced not to due to the weakened state of the remaining Highlander Regiments.[2] Ashamed at losing the Highlanders homeworld, McDougal bound the First Kearny under oath to eventually reclaim Northwind.[1]
