Tormax Liao - Late 30th Century Chancellor of the Capellan Confederation and the 16th Duke of Liao.[1]

Character Brief

Rise to Power

Nephew of Ingrid Liao, Tormax inherited host of problems when came to power in 2980. His traditional military forces were lagging behind in newly formed Warrior House regiments, began resent them. The resounding defeat over Rio by Davion force caused Tormax to reorganize his Aerospace forces training and recruitment. At his urging, pushed his nation's surviving industries to design new Aerospace Fighters designs.

In 2987 Davion forces commenced series of attacks against Liao's prefecture capital of Tikonov. These attacked force Tormax to use the last of his military reserves. He committed Justinia's Cuirassiers, Shepard's Mounted Fusiliers, and Hampton's Hessens in bold invasion of Davion world of Lee to relieve pressure off the Chesterton Reserves which desperately holding off Davion forces on Tikonov. The prestrike against Davion relieved the beliger forces and the newly deployed Transgressor aerospace fighters help the fight.[2]
