System Information
X:Y Coordinates[e]

The Trentwash system is the location of at least one habitable world (Trentwash II) and as of 2973 was an independent system located beyond the Elysian Fields.[1]

System Description[edit]

Trentwash is located beyond the Elysian Fields, though its actual position has not been revealed.

Trentwash was one of ComStar's secret holdings and allegedly located within eight to ten jumps of the Lyran Commonwealth-Draconis Combine border though it was never placed on star charts anywhere. The most common theory said those planets had been discovered by the Explorer Corps and had been previously inhabited by pirates and other refugees from the Inner Sphere.[2]

Planetary History[edit]

Third Succession War[edit]

The inhabitants were descendants of a Rim Worlds colony established by Cynthia Amaris (mother of Stefan Amaris) about 300 years prior to the Explorer Corps visit.

The years since its foundation had made the colony suffer from a technology decline which had left their original cities to be relics of the past, which the actual inhabitants unable to create it.

The colony had not been in contact with the Inner Sphere for some 300 years when it was visited by the Explorer Corps DropShip Divine Providence in 2973. The inhabitants reacted first coldly and the next day with fury when they discovered what they apparently considered lies from ComStar. They attacked the DropShip with the intent of killing the entire crew.

In the fury of the moment, the ComStar crew turned the vessel's guns on the city, turning it to ashes and killing most of the inhabitants.[1]

No contact has been made with the colony since.

Clan Invasion[edit]

The planet is likely located in the path of the Clan Invasion, but its specific fate was not mentioned. Given that it was apparently a relatively obscure colony, it is unclear if the Clans ever actually entered the system.
