Planetary Info

Trondheim has four satellites: Strinda, Leinstrand, Byneset, and Tiller. The capital city is named Misby Flats, and is located on the Fosen continent. The other continents are Nidaros, Heimdal, and Dovre.[19]

Planetary History

In 3022 several volcanoes on the surface of Trondheim began erupting, putting massive amounts of ash into the atmosphere. This affected the amount of sunlight reaching the world's surface, and as a consequence, affected the world's ecology. Fortunately the active geology allowed easy access to the precious metals and rare minerals in the planet's crust.[1]

Trondheim was a longtime possession of the Draconis Combine, but the Combine gave it up in 3034 when the Free Rasalhague Republic was created.[citation needed]

Trondheim, along with most of the Republic, was conquered by the Clans during their invasion. Trondheim in particular was conquered by Clan Ghost Bear, in whose possession the world remained for over a decade. In 3067, Clan Diamond Shark took Trondheim as a part of the plan to establish trading posts in the Inner Sphere Occupation Zones of the Clans.[citation needed]
