In 2765 the SLS Uluru was serving as the flagship of the SLDF Fifteenth Fleet under the command of Admiral Connall Shockley. Deployed to the volatile border region between the Draconis Combine and the Federated Suns prior to the Periphery Uprising, the Uluru led the Fifteenth Fleet to deter adventurism on either part, fighting off numerous so-called "bandit raids" in the closing years of the Star League before being deployed into the Outworlds Alliance following the beginning of the uprising.[1]
