Casual Edit Award

Hi Mattiator, you've made a really good start here - it's great to see someone making solid contributions to a lot of articles, as there's always more work that needs doing here. I think that a good start, particularly one that involves improving the quality and utility of a number of articles, definitely deserves an award - in this case, what will doubtless be the first of many! I'd like to give you a Casual Edit Award for your work to date: Casual Edit Award, 1st ribbon - we'll need a mod or admin person to set up the awards board on your user profile, but as soon as they do, you'll have your first award ready to go on it. Don't forget to keep an eye on some of the other awards - I'm fairly sure you'll be picking up your first Edit Count award before long! BrokenMnemonic (talk) 00:09, 24 April 2013 (PDT)

 • Thank you very much! I can't believe I've already started racking up awards this early! Be sure to check out some of the new pages I've been working on, such as the Matar (BattleMech)! Mattiator (talk) 21:12, 24 April 2013 (PDT)

Edit Count Award

Hi Mattiator,
You've earned your first edit count award, based on the user count log update this morning: Edit Count (100) Congratulations! Smiley.gif Keep an eye on the edit count awards - you can earn a fair number of them quickly if you're dedicated. BrokenMnemonic (talk) 05:51, 5 May 2013 (PDT)

Banshee Project

Good work on a usually thankless task. I award you the Random Act of Appreciation Award, 1st ribbon. ClanWolverine101 (talk) 15:46, 10 May 2013 (PDT)

Appreciate your work

Welcome from me, too! I like how you're adding small tidbits and copyediting. It this kind of small polishing work that really makes Sarna BTW shine. Have an award! All Purpose Award, 1st ribbon Frabby (talk) 05:02, 23 May 2013 (PDT)

1st Somerset Strikers sourcebook

I rolled back your edit here because the canonicity information was wrong, obviously based on a misunderstanding: You're right that the cartoon as such is just an in-universe show; but the sourcebook is fully canon. It was expressly written to canonize as much as possible from the cartoon's content and explain some errors. Frabby (talk) 22:51, 24 May 2013 (PDT)

Disambig Links

Good day sir, I noticed that you were trying to fix some links that led to disambiguation pages; the only problem with what you were doing was the formatting itself. You had changed them, for example, from Centurion to Centurion (BattleMech), which actually didn't fix the problem, but simply changed the text that is displayed on a saved page. Using the | to divide links allows you to display text while linking to something different. To clarify, the text to the left of the | is the target page, and the text to the right of the | is the text to display. An example would be: the first BattleMech, which when saved shows this: the first BattleMech. I hope that that clarifies how those work. By the way, keep up the good work! -BobTheZombie (talk) 16:58, 4 March 2014 (PST)

 • Haha, whoops. I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to editing. Thanks for fixing that. Mattiator (talk) 17:03, 4 March 2014 (PST)
That's perfectly fine; I'm just happy that someone else also is trying to work on the disambig links! Sarna is a learning experience and everyone makes honest mistakes. -BobTheZombie (talk) 17:11, 4 March 2014 (PST)

Production Year

Hi Mattiator,
Can you hold fire on removing the production year line from the infoboxes in 'Mech articles for a bit? I think the problem here is that there's a disconnect in how the information is being used and the policy on how the 'Mech articles are written. I'll flag this up on the Project Page to see if anyone else agrees and if we can work this out in a more consistent manner. BrokenMnemonic (talk) 03:01, 23 October 2014 (PDT)
