Viktor Hannan was a MechWarrior, who served with the Stormhammers' Lyran Rangers, during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Hannan had blond hair and brown eyes.[1]
History[edit]
A native of Skye, and descended from MechWarrior members of the Seventeenth Skye Rangers, Hannan had a thick German-Gaelic accent. His family had a farm in the hills outside the city of New London, where they secretly kept an inherited 'Mech, which they had maintained during the years of the Pax Republica and kept safe from the Military Materiel Redemption Program. His loyalty to Free Skye drew Hannan to answer Jasek Kelswa-Steiner's call to arms following the Blackout, though it also made him skeptical of his pro-Tharkad vision.[1]
As of 3133, Hannan served in a Sturmlance within the Lyran Rangers, commanded by Marcin Janik.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Hannan was known to have piloted a Zeus BattleMech, serial number LA9155-43F, nicknamed "Ian".[3] This 'Mech was rebuilt several times, including as a Clan Invasion era refit and following the FedCom Civil War battles on Hesperus II. Returning to Skye in the hands of Ian Hannan just before the Word of Blake Jihad, Viktor’s great-grandfather, it survived that conflict and the Republic’s peace in a bunker on the Hannan family farm.[1]
